Based on the requirement by different departments in administration and macro decision making, upon national fundamental database such systems have been successfully developed as spatial decision support system, spatial query and analysis system, daily operational system. Value-added development on top of national fundamental database has also been made to produce products for various applications such as city framework map, electric navigation map and web map, etc. National fundamental database has also been used to resolve national hot problems, such as environmental protection and landuse change monitoring.
